I love a good story.
Not a happy ending or a good cliffhanger, I want the whole thing.
Do not try to make it up as you go along like "Lost"
or "fix" what wasn't broken like my poor bastardized Star Wars franchise.
Don't try to turn a comic book adventure into a metaphor for Christ on the cross like Superman Returns and let The Fly with Goldblum just be sci-fi, not a statement on Aids.
If its entertaining I will watch.
PS if you could make it Ultra Violent that'd be ok too
