CBS announced today that B Positive has been given a back order of five episodes, bringing its full season total to 18. The comedy premiered a month and a half ago as the network's first new show of the 2020-2021 season.
In a television season light on new fare, the series has performed fairly well through its first five episodes. Critical reception has been generally positive while ratings have been decent in its Thursday night time slot.
B Positive stars Thomas Middleditch as Drew, a therapist and recently-divorced dad in need of a kidney. He finds a possible donor in Gina, an unsophisticated woman from his past. Together, they form an unlikely friendship and start a journey that will greatly impact both of their lives.
Amazon Renews ‘The Wilds’
Amazon announced today that The Wilds has been picked up for a second season. The good news comes just a week after the release of the drama's 10-episode freshman run, which garnered a mostly positive critical reception.
The series follows a group of teenage girls from different backgrounds who become stranded on a deserted island after their plane crashes, leading them to fight for their survival. The castaways bond and clash as they learn details about each other's lives, the secrets they keep, and the traumas they have endured. But while it appears they were brought together by tragic circumstances, it was no accident that these girls ended up on the island.
Look for Season 2 of The Wilds in 2021.

The final five episodes that Alex Trebek taped as the beloved longtime host of “Jeopardy!” will air starting Monday January 4, 2021.
Trebek’s final episodes were originally slated to air during the week of Christmas, but producers pushed the showtimes back because they said the holidays might be too chaotic for viewers to tune in.
