Ryan, a young man struggling unsuccessfully to make his way in the world until he forms a unique friendship with Wilfred, his neighbor's pet. Everyone else sees Wilfred as just a dog, but Ryan sees a brave and honest Australian bloke in a cheap dog suit. While leading him through a series of adventures, Wilfred the dog shows Ryan the man how to overcome his fears and embrace the world around him.

FXX Sets Premiere Date For Fourth And Final Season Of 'Wilfred'
With May season finales more or less at an end, it's time for the networks to look ahead toward plans for the summer. Such is the case for FXX. The network has formally released its summer premiere schedule, which includes the premiere date for the fourth and final season of Wilfred. The show will premiere on Wednesday June 25th at 10/9c.
