From executive producer Kudrow, the series "Who Do You Think You Are?" - an adaptation of the award-winning hit British television documentary series - will lead celebrities on a journey of self-discovery as they unearth their family trees that reveal surprising, inspiring and even tragic stories that often are linked to crucial events in American history.
Actress Regina King investigates her maternal family tree and uncovers an ancestor who was a radical civil rights activist in Alabama; a man who came out of slavery, endured horrific violence, but never stopped fighting for his people.
Renewed For 2018
It is being reported that TLC has renewed Who Do You Think You Are? for what will be its 10th season. The genealogy documentary series has been a steady presence on TLC for the past five years since its move there in 2013 after being cancelled by original network NBC.
Look for the new season of Who Do You Think You Are? in the spring of 2018, where a new group of celebrities will trace back through their family tree to learn about their roots.
