Netflix Cancels 'V Wars'




It is being reported that Netflix has cancelled V Wars after just one season. The move comes less than four months after the sci-fi drama's freshman release, which ultimately drew little fanfare and a mixed critical reception.
Based on the graphic novel by Jonathan Maberry, the series follows a scientist and his friend who, during an urgent trip to the Arctic, end up quarantined with a potentially-deadly illness that escalates into something that turns its victims into blood-sucking creatures. This ends up pitting the two friends against one another in a fight for the future of humanity.
