HBO Cancels Togetherness
HBO has cancelled Togetherness, opting not to renew the sophomore comedy for a third season. Series co-creator Mark Duplass posted a statement about the cancellation on Twitter this morning, thanking the show's fans for their support.
While the series did have a core loyal following, overall viewership numbers were too low for the cable network to continue with further seasons. The series finale of Togetherness will air on Sunday, April 10.
HBO Renews Togetherness
HBO announced today that Togetherness has been renewed for a second season. The freshman comedy premiered earlier this month and is just three episodes into its run.
Look for Season 2 of Togetherness to return in 2016. For now, new episodes are airing Sundays through to the finale set for March 8.
The eight-episode first season premiered on HBO on January 11, 2015.

HBO Picks Up New Comedy 'Togetherness'
Great news for fans of the Duplass brothers: HBO has picked up their new pilot 'Togetherness' to series, with an eight-episode order. 'Togetherness' is a comedy about the intricacies of human relationships. Mark Duplass will be starring in the project alongside Amanda Peet, Melanie Lynskey and Steve Zissis and Jay Duplass will be behind the camera.
