Those Who Can't follows three trouble-making teachers, played by show creators Adam Cayton-Holland, Andrew Orvedahl and Ben Roy of the Denver-based comedy troupe The Grawlix. More inept than the kids they teach, they're out to beat the system as they struggle to survive each day on their own terms. Joining them is Maria Thayer (Eagleheart) as the school librarian with an insuppressible passion for life.
It appears that Those Who Can't has aired its last episode. The comedy's co-creators have taken to social media to inform their followers that the show has been "officially cancelled" by truTV.
The half-hour series premiered in 2016 with two seasons already on-order, thanks to it getting an early sophomore renewal before airing its first-ever episode. But while it managed to air its first two seasons before the end of 2016, an over two-year absence followed, with its third and now-final season premiering in January of this year. The series finale aired earlier this month on April 8.
Created by and starring members of Denver-based comedy troupe The Grawlix, Those Who Can't was truTV's first foray into scripted comedy. The series follows three borderline-incompetent teachers who get into more mischief than the students they teach.
