Looking for love can be tricky, but some find it harder than others. Add disability to the equation and it can sometimes seem almost impossible. This uplifting series follows the journeys of several extraordinary singletons as they enter the dating circuit in pursuit of love.
31 year old Steve has Crouzon syndrome, a genetic condition which affects the shape of the head and face, and has also affected his confidence with women.
Last year Steve enlisted the help of a dating agency in his search to find the woman of his dreams and went on a date with coffee shop barista Ellie. While the date didn't lead to long-term love, it did boost Steve's confidence and within weeks, he met a girl through Twitter, and fell head over heels. After a whirlwind romance the love-struck couple got engaged "if you know you want to be with someone you know it, it's just instantly there". However, after few happy months Steve was left heartbroken when she suddenly called the engagement off. Despite the heartache Steve remains as optimistic about romance as ever and is set to get back onto the dating scene. Will 25 year old Sophie be the woman for him?
