Looking for love can be tricky, but some find it harder than others. Add disability to the equation and it can sometimes seem almost impossible. This uplifting series follows the journeys of several extraordinary singletons as they enter the dating circuit in pursuit of love.
Matthew's lack of experience with women doesn't put him off wanting to achieve his grand plan of finding a girlfriend, moving out from his parents', getting married and having a family by the time he's 30. Matthew's autism means that once he decides on a plan, he gets upset if things don't go his way. He is determined to find someone who can go to rock concerts with him, share his love of different cultures - he's learning Japanese for his karate black belt - and not force him to watch too many chick flicks.
Matthew's mum worries that he will talk too much about his own interests rather than listen to what his date is saying. So far in his life he has never had to face anything that could mess with his emotions as much as falling in love so how will this dating virgin cope with going on an actual date?
