New Girl
Jess Day is an offbeat and adorable girl in her late 20s who, after a bad breakup, moves in with three single guys. Goofy, positive, vulnerable and honest to a fault, Jess has faith in people, even when she shouldn't. Although she's dorky and awkward, she's comfortable in her own skin. More prone to friendships with women, she's not used to hanging with the boys - especially at home.

'New Girl' Renewed For Final Season
It was announced today that Fox has renewed New Girl for a seventh and final season. The Zooey Deschanel-led comedy has had a successful run for the network, first as a breakout hit in 2011 and then as a reliable utility player during its later years, where it still managed to rank as Fox's highest-rated live-action comedy.
Knowing the end was certainly happening sooner than later, showrunners smartly wrapped up Season 6 in a way that could serve as a series ender if need be. But with today's pickup for 2017-2018, the show now has eight last episodes to properly conclude the series.

Almost five years since its premiere, New Girl holds the distinction of being the network's longest-running live-action comedy as well as its highest-rated.
Megan Fox will guest-star in a recurring role appearing in a multi-episode arc. Fox will play “Reagan,” a gorgeous, straight-shooting pharmaceutical sales rep who comes to town on business and shakes things up in the loft when she rents out Jess' (series star Zooey Deschanel) room while she is sequestered on jury duty. Fox will first appear in the sixth episode of the upcoming season, “It’s insane to me that such a gorgeous person can be so funny” said executive producer Liz Meriwether.

'New Girl' Star Damon Wayans Jr Commits To Whole Season
It looks like Coach is here to stay! At least until the end of Season Three, that is. Damon Wayans Jr. has officially closed a deal with FOX to extend his stay on the 'New Girl' set for the remainder of the season. The actor had originally signed up for a four-episode comeback arc, which kicked off on Tuesday. So this new promotion should offer a significant increase in his character's on-screen time, however, Wayans will still continue to be billed as a special guest star.
