NBC Cancels 'The Michael J. Fox Show'
In a move that was admittedly obvious since the struggling sitcom drew its first 0.8, NBC has canceled The Michael J. Fox Show, effective immediately. For the three million or so people who watched The Michael J. Fox on a regular basis, they may now never get to see the seven remaining already filmed episodes, one of which includes the hyped up guest appearance by Fox's Back to the Future co-star Christopher Lloyd.

Christopher Lloyd Headed To 'The Michael J. Fox Show'
Back to the Future fans are in for a treat in 2014. Christopher LLoyd, best known for his portrayal of time traveling scientist Dr. Emmett Brown in the aforementioned film series, will soon be reuniting with 'BTTF' co-star Michael J. Fox on the latter's new sitcom. LLoyd is set to play the eccentric principal of the high school where Mike's wife Annie teaches. When a disagreement puts Mike and LLoyd's characters at odds.

Brooke Shields To Guest Star On 'The Michael J Fox Show'
Brooke Shields has recently booked a multiple-episode arc on 'The Michael J. Fox Show,' where she will have what sounds like a romantic involvement with Michael's on-screen, 19-year-old son. Shields will play Deborah, a smart and beautiful single mother with a sweet and nerdy personality who doesn't quite have it all together. During her three-episode stay Shields' character will meet Ian Henry (Conor Romero) at a ballroom dance class, where the two will develop an apparently unmistakable chemistry.

Recording artist Sting is shooting a guest spot on NBC’s freshman comedy, 'The Michael J. Fox Show' this coming week, appearing as himself in a holiday-themed episode to air later this year. As of yet there are no details regarding the storyline.

Candice Bergen & Charles Grodin Join 'The Michael J. Fox Show'
Hollywood veterans Candice Bergen and Charles Grodin have signed on to guest star, and possibly recur, on 'The Michael J. Fox Show' as Mike's parents. Adding to a cast that already has 'Breaking Bad's Betsy Brandt as Fox's wife, 'Wonderfalls' Katie Finnernan as his sister, and 'The Wire's Wendell Pierce as his boss at the TV station.
