The Carrie Diaries is a prequel to the HBO televison series Sex and the City and based on the book of the same name by Candace Bushnell. The show focuses on Carrie Bradshaw during her senior year of high school during the early 1980s and part of her life in New York working as a writer.

Dorrit Bradshaw is from Castlebury, Connecticut. She is Carrie's rebellious sister, who is very different than other girls her age.
