The Assets is an upcoming American drama television series that will air on ABC during the 2013–14 American television season.The eight-part limited series is set to debut on January 2, 2014. It is based on the book Circle of Treason: A CIA Account of Traitor Aldrich Ames and the Men He Betrayed by retired CIA officers Sandra Grimes and Jeanne Vertefeuille, and is produced by Morgan Hertzan, Rudy Bednar and Andrew Chapman.

Character Bio
Sandra Grimes, also known as Sandy Grimes, was born in August 1945 in Oak Ridge, TN. In high school, she enrolled in a course in Russian language and went on to major in the language at the University of Washington. She started working with the CIA once graduating college. Sandy was a part of a small CIA team that helped catch Aldrich Ames.
