The Americans, created by Joe Weisberg and starring Keri Russell, Matthew Rhys and Noah Emmerich, is a period drama about the complex marriage of two KGB spies posing as Americans in suburban Washington DC shortly after Ronald Reagan is elected President. The arranged marriage of Phillip and Elizabeth, who have two children who know nothing about their parents true identity.

Character Bio

Nina Krilova is Stan's FBI informant and later, lover. Nina works at the Soviet Embassy. Stan blackmailed her to work with the FBI which eventually led to an affair. Nina turned on Stan in "The Oath" and became a re-doubled agent after realizing Stan killed her friend, Vlad. Her failure to obtain information from Stan led to her conviction of treason and she was sent to prison in the Soviet Union, where they made her a deal to spy on yet another man, Anton Baklanov, and report to them on what he is doing. Angry with Stan at one point, she began sleeping with Oleg as well. She has admitted to loving them both, even though she is still married to yet another man.
