She uncovers dark secrets from her family's past, receives Starman's very useful cosmic staff, joins the Justice Society of America and inspires the unlikely group of young heroes to stop the villains of the past.
The CW announced today that Stargirl has been picked up for a third season. The renewal is an early one, as the superhero drama doesn't begin is sophomore run until August.
Beginning in Season 2, the series will air first on The CW. In its debut outing last year, new episodes premiered on the DC Universe streaming service before airing on network TV the following day. Now, episodes will release on HBO Max after their linear run.
