The workplace comedy "Spun Out" stars Dave Foley as Dave Lyons, the patriarchal boss of a fledgling public relations firm staffed with people who can spin everyone’s problems but their own. No matter how bizarre the cases are that the agency takes on, they pale in comparison to the workplace romances, rivalries, personal successes, and often hilarious failures of the close-knit and dysfunctional colleagues at DLPR.
Born and raised in Oakville, Ontario, Rebecca has loved acting ever since she starred as Mary, mother ...
Stephanie is the boss's daughter. She fails at almost everything she tries and she tries a lot of things. This never gets her down, though. In fact, she looks at each failure as “that thing she did before she finally found her niche.” She also looks at every relationship that didn’t work out as “that guy she dated before she met The One.” Stephanie may spend a bit too much time in the self-help section of her local bookstore, but her positive spirit is admirable and pretty adorable.
Stephanie is not terribly confident in her position at DLPR. She feels a little out of her league, a little bit picked on. This may be based on the fact that she’s never successfully helped any client. Did we mention she's the boss' daughter? That doesn’t make her life at the firm any easier. It also makes father/daughter-bonding time less fun when she’s just lost a major account.
Stephanie is torn between being happy having a smart, funny, charming guy like Beckett around, and being threatened and annoyed, having a smart, funny, charming guy like Beckett around. Her passion and work ethic are infectious, though, and when she finally lets loose, fun ollows her whatever she does.
