Slasher follows the plight of a young woman who returns to the small town where she was born, only to find herself in a series of horrifying copycat murders based on the grisly killings of her parents. The eight part season serves as the first installment of an anthology series, where each season exists as a self contained hybrid of the slasher subgenre of horror films and the murder mystery. Over the course of the series, a variety of mysteries will unfold, building towards a climactic finale.

Character Bio
Dylan is the rock that his wife Sarah can depend on whenever things get a hectic, emotional, or even a little murdery (given that she was ripped out of her mother's womb by a serial killer who later killed her parents, things can go there). Dylan is a freelance journalist, so when Sarah decided to return to the place of her birth (and her parents' murder), he jumped at the opportunity to be the editor-in-chief of the local newspaper (also, free house. Hello). Still, Dylan's past is mostly a mystery. Might it include murder?
