Single Parents revolves around a group of dysfunctional single parents who lean on one another as they raise their kids, look for love and ultimately realize survival is only possible with the help of one another.
ABC announced today that Single Parents has been picked up for a second season. The good news comes two days following the conclusion of its freshman season, which fared well for the network in its post-Modern Family time slot.
Single Parents follows single dad Will Cooper, whose 7-year-old daughter is starting her first day of elementary school. There, he gets to know a group of other single parents, who notice that Will is just a bit too into parenting and less focused on his own life. Wanting to help Will remember the man he once was, his new dysfunctional group of friends send him out in the dating world as a way to make him realize that being a good parent doesn't mean losing your own identity.
Look for Season 2 of Single Parents to premiere this fall.
