Apple TV+ announced this evening that Servant has been given an early pickup for a second season. The good news comes less than a week ahead of the thriller's premiere on the tech giant's new streaming service.
From executive producer M. Night Shyamalan, the series follows a Philadelphia couple in mourning after a horrible tragedy creates a rift in their marriage. When they try to get over their loss with a lifelike reborn doll, it opens the door for a mysterious force to enter their home.
Today's renewal continues Apple's trend of giving all their new shows a second season. For All Mankind, The Morning Show, Dickinson, and See will all be returning as well.
Servant is Shyamalan's second foray into television and his first on a streaming platform. He previously executive produced Fox's Wayward Pines, which ran for two seasons.
