Three struggling actresses decide to audition for a west-end style play but the show flops. The three girls, who do not get along and have very different personalities and backgrounds, are drawn together by their shared catastrophe,and the musical director of the show tells them they should form a rock band. After some convincing, they see the possibilites, and agree.
