Reno 911!
Meet the men and women of the Washoe County Sheriff's Department, led by Lt. Jim Dangle (Tom Lennon) -- a straight-and-narrow cop who might not be all that "straight" after all. Deputies include a former topless showgirl and a 5-foot-4 veritable crime-fightin' machine.

'Reno 911!' Renewed For Season 8
Quibi announced today that Reno 911! has been picked up for an eighth season - its second on the mobile streaming service. The good news comes four months after the improv comedy made its return TV. It had been over 10 years since the show was cancelled by its original network, Comedy Central.
Shot in a mockumentary-style, Reno 911!'s cast of comic actors portray the police officers that you would normally see on shows such as COPS. The show places much emphasis on improvisation, using only a broad outline with a minimal script.
Look for Season 8 of Reno 911! in 2021.
On August 13, 2009, Thomas Lennon announced through Twitter that the show had ended its six-year run. In response to the cancellation, residents and officials of Reno have petitioned to save the show with efforts including a fund-raiser where participants will toss 50,000 pounds of tomatoes at each other in downtown.
