Red Band Society is a coming-of-age drama with humor set at a big-city hospital. Unlike most hospital series, it doesn’t center on the doctors but on the patients. It explores with dark humor the daily life of a group of teenage kids living in a hospital who become unlikely friends. The depth of these unexpected friendships allow them to survive the challenges of growing up under such intense circumstances.
