Rake follows the chaotic and comedic life of criminal defense lawyer Keegan Joye. Brilliant, frustratingly charming, and with zero filter, Keegan is one of life's great addicts. His staggering lack of discretion land him the cases that nobody else wants, but behind that lies a resolute optimism and belief in justice that fuel determination to defend those who seem beyond redemption.
As Keegan (Greg Kinnear) defends a well respected doctor who is caught in a very kinky video, an FBI investigation into Ben's (John Ortiz) firm threatens to derail Scarlet's (Necar Zadegan) campaign. Guest starring Kim Hawthorne and Pamela Adlon.
'Rake' To Burn Off Remaining Episodes On Saturday
The writing has been on the wall for the cancellation of midseason legal drama Rake since it first fell below 1.0 back in February. Two episodes remain in the shows 13-episode season, "Remembrance of Taxis Past" and "A Man's Best Friend." The first was scheduled to air this Friday, with the second airing next Friday, however the show will burn off its final episodes this Saturday, in what is usually a primetime dead zone. The shows final episodes air Saturday, April 5 at 8/7c and 9/8c. FOX has yet to clarify whether the unaired sixth episode, titled "Mammophile," will ever see the light of day.
