NBC Announce Premiere Date For Final Season Of 'ParentHood'
NBC is first out of the gate this year in detailing its premiere plan for the 2014-15 TV season. Returning for its sixth and final season, Parenthood will premiere on Thursday September 25th at 10pm.

'Parenthood' Renewed For Sixth And Final Season
NBC has renewed odds-defying drama Parenthood for a 13-episode sixth and final season. The 11th-hour pickup comes after the network, looking to trim costs on the very expensive series, closed new deals with the principal cast that will have them appearing in 11 of the 13 episodes.

John Corbett Returning To 'Parenthood'
John Corbett is making his way back to NBC’s drama Parenthood. Corbett is known for playing Sarah’s ex-husband Seth and even more popular for being a recovering alcoholic who doesn’t have the greatest relationship with his children, Drew (Miles Heizer) and Amber (Mae Whitman). Corbett isn’t the only former flame of Sarah’s making his return. Last month it was announced that Jason Ritter would also be popping up as Mark Cyr in Episode 19 airing April 24th.

The last time we saw Ritter as Mark, he and TV love Sarah Braverman were on the outs and Sarah chose Hank over Mark. Ritter will reprise his role in Episode 19 set to air on April 24th 2014.

David Denman To Recur On 'Parenthood'

NBC announced today that it has renewed Parenthood for a fifth season in 2013-2014. The order is for a full 22 episodes, which the drama has not seen since season 2. Last season, the show only ran for 15 episodes, and before that it was 17. Over the years, the critically-acclaimed series has drawn steady ratings for the network, while establishing a fiercely-loyal base of devoted fans.
