A situation comedy set in a small ward of a National Health Service Hospital in the North of England. Figgis, Archie and Norman are the patients who try the patience of Staff Nurse Gupte and Doctor (Mr) Gordon Thorpe their surgeon. Well known actors of the day made cameo appearances either as patients, visitors or hospital staff.
