Later, when Mr. Gold (Rumplestiltskin) finds a way to cross the barrier out of Storybrooke without losing his memories, Hook shoots Belle, causing her to fall across the border and lose her memory again. Before Gold can harm Hook, a car coming into Storybrooke knocks Hook off of the road. After being knocked out by Emma, Neal Cassidy recognizes Hook due to his past encounter with him as Baelfire (Rumplestiltskin's son).
