Nurse Jackie Renewed For Season Seven
There is good news for Nurse Jackie fans, just two weeks ahead of the comedy's Season Six premiere, Showtime has already announced its plans to hand out an early Season Seven renewal. Unfortunately, it isn't all good news. Showtime also revealed that Peter Facinelli would not be returning, at least in a series-regular capacity. The actor asked to be released from his contract during Season Six and has already booked the lead in NBC's family political drama pilot Odyssey.

Sky Atlantic Set UK Premiere Date For 'Nurse Jackie' Season Five
The fifth season of Showtime’s medical dramedy series Nurse Jackie will receive its UK premiere on Sky Atlantic on Friday February 14th at 10pm, it has been announced. In the opening episode of the show’s fifth season, an overturned bus makes for a crazy day at All Saints as two new doctors join the staff, Dr. Carrie Roman and Dr. Ike Prentiss.

Showtime Renews 'Nurse Jackie' For A Sixth Season
Showtime has given the popular dark comedy a sixth season, which will premiere in 2014. “Nurse Jackie,” a co-production of Showtime and Lionsgate, stars Edie Falco as Jackie Peyton, an uncompromising and genius (though not without her faults) ER nurse. Season five’s finale will air June 16. Production on season six starts in New York this fall.
