'NCIS' Renewed For Season 17

CBS announced today that NCIS has been picked up for a 17th season. The news coincides with a new deal signed by star and executive producer Mark Harmon to remain on the long-running drama.
One of the CBS' most-successful series of all-time, NCIScontinues to maintain its flagship status. Along with being the longest-running drama series currently on the network, it also holds the distinction of being the most-watched drama on any of the broadcast networks. Today's renewal should see the show hit the 400 episode milestone in 2020 - a truly impressive feat.

'NCIS' Renewed For Season 16

CBS announced today that NCIS has been renewed for a 16th season. The news coincides with a new 2-year deal signed by star and executive producer Mark Harmon to remain on the veteran drama.
Originating from a concept and characters that were initially introduced in a two-part episode of the CBS series JAG, NCISwas originally referred to as Navy NCIS in its first season. The series follows the Naval Criminal Investigative Service, which is the primary law enforcement and counter-intelligence arm of the United States Department of the Navy. Together, the team works in high-stress situations while dealing with often-complex and always-amusing personal dynamics.

NCIS Season 15 Mike Wolfe to Guest

Mike Wolfe of History’s American Pickers will play himself in a episode. He’ll come to the rescue of Gibbs and Ducky, both of whom are busy watching Wolfe on TV when they see him handling a 200-year-old war stick that could be a match from a decade-old cold case. Gibbs tracks down Wolfe, who (natch!) bought the stick from from some seller. And voila! The case is re-opened. The episode will air March 13.

Maria Bello Joins Cast as Series Regular
CBS announced today that Maria Bello has joined the cast as a series regular and will be introduced in the fourth episode of the 15th season.Bello will play an NCIS agent who was commissioned as a second lieutenant in the army and served two tours in Afghanistan. After joining NCIS, she built her reputation as the agency’s premier forensic psychologist. Unlike the other agents, she can second guess and challenge Gibbs, so there will be friction but also mutual respect. She is a positive force, mischievous and at times acerbic.

Jennifer Esposito is exiting veteran CBS drama NCIS after one season as a series regular. She remains in the CBS family via her ongoing recurring role on Showtime’s The Affair as Nina Solloway, Noah’s (Dominic West) sister. Additionally, Esposito has booked a co-starring role opposite John Travolta in the feature Speed Kills for Hannibal Classics.
