"My So-Called Life" is a realistic mid-nineties teen drama series that takes a look at a 15 year-old girl and her trials and tribulations with being a teenager and dealing with friends, guys, parents and school.

Sharon Cherski, played by
Devon Odessa, was Angela's best friend throughout childhood until Angela became friends with Rayanne. Sharon is conventional and academically minded, but throughout the show her subtleties are revealed and more dimension to her character becomes obvious.
