Juggling a new relationship, parental responsibilities, friendship and a sick brother while earning a living would be difficult for anyone but it's particularly difficult when you're a hitman. Gary, played by Justin Rosniak, is Ray’s best friend. They’ve known each other for many years, and worked together a great deal in the past, but less so now. Gary is married to Tatiana and is trying to live a more respectable life.
Rosniak says of him: “Gary is influenced by Tatiana in terms of becoming more responsible; he dresses differently to how he would have in the past; there’s a pressure he feels from his wife to look a certain way. I feel that he’s teetering on the edge, that he’s at risk of falling off some type of wagon. He’s under a lot of pressure to keep Tatiana, because he feels like he’s landed something that he doesn’t feel worthy of.”
