Juggling a new relationship, parental responsibilities, friendship and a sick brother while earning a living would be difficult for anyone but it's particularly difficult when you're a hitman. Ray Shoesmith "takes care of people" - collecting debts, relieving them of drugs and guns, and often taking care of them on a permanent basis. Ray demands respect and does not tolerate anyone who doesn't live up to his very strong and very clear code of ethics.
Damon Herriman was born in Adelaide, South Australia. He began acting in local television commercials ...
Freddy, played by Damon Herriman, is Ray’s boss. He runs his business out of a strip joint, and is a guy that people go to if they need a hit put on someone or a debt collected. He feeds these jobs to Ray or one of his other contractors for a set fee. For Ray, Freddy is equal parts boss, friend, and father trying to calm his teenage son.
Damon Herriman says, “It’s very easy to get off side with Ray, but Freddy can get away with most things. Freddy feels protective of Ray, and protected by Ray, but he’s also a little on edge at all times because he knows Ray has a hair trigger temper. Freddy is constantly trying to make sure that Ray stays calm.”
