A band of hardcore hunters and trappers native to West Virginia and known as The Appalachian Investigators of Mysterious Sightings (AIMS) is at the ready to identify and snare mountain monsters in the hope of helping local mountain communities rest more easily when night falls and nature comes out to play.

Buck is the youngest member of AIMS and possesses a quick wit. This expert animal caller might have a weak stomach, but it's his unflinching desire to unravel the mysteries hidden deep within the mountain hollers of Appalachia that makes him essential.
