There are 3 orbital elevator which possesses solar power generation and they are each controlled by Union of Solar Energy and Free Nations (formerly USA), Human Reform League (Russia, China and India) and Advanced European Union. That led to conflicts and organization Celestial Being was born to end all war using the Mobile Suits by the name of Gundam.
