Miz and Mrs. chronicles the lives of The Miz and Maryse. The six-episode, half-hour series will feature the married pair, known for being larger than life both in and out of the ring, as the Superstars become parents for the first time.
USA Network announced Tuesday that Miz & Mrs. has been picked up for a second season. The good news was revealed ahead of the show's mid-season premiere, which returned for a 2-episode night to kick off its remaining 14 episodes.
The docuseries debuted last summer with a six-episode order that was quickly extended to 20 after a strong start to its run. It's no surprise that today's renewal is for another 20 episodes.
The Miz was first introduced to TV viewers on The Real World: Back to New York before going on to have a successful wrestling career in the WWE. His wife Maryse is also a WWE vet, where she won multiple championships and also managed The Miz for a time. The two have long been a couple, getting engaged in 2013 and married a year later. Miz & Mrs. chronicles their daily personal and professional lives, including their experience as first-time parents.
Look for Season 2 to premiere in 2020.
