Midsomer Murders is a long running TV series based on the award winning Inspector Barnaby novels by mystery writer Caroline Graham, who the Sunday Times describes as "the best detective writer since Agatha Christie". In each episode, the Midsomer community is shattered by violent crimes, suspects are placed under suspicion, and it is up to DCI Tom Barnaby, (replaced in series 14 by his cousin DCI John Barnaby), to calmly and diligently eliminate the innocent and ruthlessly pursue the guilty.

I realize that all good things come to an end, but really!!! ........ When you have a winning combination of setting, Story line, characters, locations, and marvelous actors, why change any of them? A word to John Nettles. You were the best. I understand if you were tired of the show and wanted to move on but most of us fans and viewers just can't wait for the next episode.
Stop playing the race card!! Brian True May was trying to create a truely unique scenario. It had nothing to do with race. It is now 2015. Bring Mr. May back if he is willing. The current John Barnaby is fine.
