I am watching the current episode that starts with Masters talking about
Sylvilagus floridanus Eastern Cottontail. The rabbit he speaks of is a small rabbit with shorter ears than many and I am NOT aware that it turns white (in winter?). The rabbit that they are showing appears to be a Oryctolagus cuniculus New Zealand White which is much large (twice the size) has longer ears and PINK EYES, since it is a natural albino, which the cottontail is not. My question is, with the kind of money that gets spent to make a TV show, why would they be so STUPID to makes such a big mistake. Most people who have ever seen many rabbits would know the difference between a cottontail and a white albino rabbit. I feel insulted when a TV show or movie makes such a technical screw up and expects the show to have credibility.
