The Incredible Journey of Mary Bryant is partly based on the life of Mary Bryant. Set in the late 1700's a young girl is convicted of petty theft and transported to the Australian Penal Colony on the First Fleet with other prisoners bound for Botany Bay. This is a story of her extraordinary journey and her fight for the freedom and dignity of her family.
