I am really liking this show ...! ... I saw an ad for it while watching ... well. I forget what, but it looked interesting, so I hunted down the first few episodes and watched them over a two-day period, and then started on the second season. I'm now working my way through the third season, wondering how he's going to get away from this "investigation," and giving some serious thought to slowing down on my binge watching so they can air all of the episodes of the fourth season! Definitely worth a look if you haven't seen it before ....!

i'm a BIG Luther fan. It all started when my friend who was pregnant and home on maternity leave was getting bored with regular TV. So she decided to start watching the BBC. Sometime after the baby was born she came back to work. She started telling me all about this new series she had found called Luther on the BBC. It sounded so intriguing I started watching the new found Luther. After each episode I could not wait for the next. It was an obsession. I was hooked. The acting was superb. Idris Elba played his part so well it was hard to believe he was not Detective Chief Inspector Luther. The twists and turns kept me returning to the BBC. Then there was Alice Morgan. Her involvement in Luther made the series even more intriguing. What a powerful irresistible character. Ruth Wilson plays the role of cold blooded Alice and is dead on. The character is spellbinding. When I found out that Luther was to be no more I felt betrayed. Who were these people who decided its time to pull the plug. How dare they. Its been a couple of months without my dear Luther. Im coping with it...(laughter) but now and then I think about the handsome man with the English accent and hope that one day the story will continue. :-)

Just one question - when is Luther going to be allowed to romance a Black woman? Since the series began he has been served up to a string of White women. This is a huge slap in the face for Black women everywhere. Where is the rush to White men off with Black women? So fed up with this trend in casting.

I'm already a fan of Idris Elba and when I saw commercials for this show, I watched it from the begining. I was hooked before the first episode ended. I hope there will be more shows in the near future. :)

This show is intriguing with unexpected plot twists and turns. You sometime can't believe what you are seeing. Love Love Love Luther, please don't end it.
