Character Bio
Barry grew up in the country and retains a disarming comical charm despite being inherently racist, sexist and every other ‘ist’ you can think of. Barry’s part of ‘The Old Culture’ – old-school policing where roughing someone up with a phone book in their cell is considered a public service. Belligerent, crass, lazy and discontented with his job, he seems an unlikely associate for Jack but their relationship goes back to Jack’s first big case as a lawyer.
