WWII has recently ended in Europe, and the people of the UK are awaiting the results of the 1945 general election. During this time, Churchill goes to France for a holiday with his wife. Through a series of flashbacks, Churchill recalls some of his most glorious moments during the war, and the effect it had on their deteriorating marriage.
