With all due respect, I realize this is a semi-futuristic sci-fi program, and I accept that, but you would think the producers would strive for just a bit more realism. Here we have this guy implanted with a BILLION-DOLLAR PLUS computer chip in his head, which they need to protect as they send him on his way to perform certain critical tasks here, there and yon, and for which they want him totally focused and undistracted. To accomplish this they assign a beautiful, thin, sexy, 120-pound soaking wet, quasi CIA agent. Yeah, right. I'll be crossing this one off my "must watch" list.
I liked this pilot of this new show. Very entertaining, well acted, has action and a very good plot. I like the good chemistry between Gabriel and Riley. Together they are going to make a good duo. The character played by Marg Helgenberger, at first, like a woman in power, she looks cold, distant, demanding but at the end, she shows she is human after all by telling Gabriel that she does not need to know his private trips- I understood that he can go and try to find his wife.
In all, it is going to be a good show.
