House of Cards premiered on Netflix on Feb 1 2013. Netflix made all 13 episodes from season 1 available on the same day. For this reason all episodes in the episode guide have the same airdate, and the main show page will not show any upcoming episodes,
Netflix has commited to a second season but no airdate has been announced.
This series WAS excellent. The storyline, acting, intelligence (in contrast to most TV shows now days) are incredibly good. Allowing commercial-free viewing of ALL episodes freely (without waiting a week for the next one) placed this series FAR ahead of any networked TV series. Not to mention the quality and departure from ho-hum worn-out cliches (NCIS). But it's been too long now......time to aire a season 2! Like EVERYTHING else Netflix has, (unfortunately) - its now "old" and the fans (anyone who has seen this masterpiece) demand some fresh oil!
