This sitcom was set in Hamway's Hardware Store in London, where Mike, Steve and Kenny work. Kenny is smug and overbearing, Steve is a student trainee and Rex is the boss. They relax at the next-door-but-one cafe, Nice Day Cafe, where Mike's girlfriend Anne works with Julie. The sitcom focused around the customers and Mike was the main character.
