Girls Ending After Season 6

It is being reported that hit HBO series Girls has mapped out the rest of its run, and will be ending after its sixth season. Since its premiere in 2012, the Lena Dunham comedy has amassed legions of fans, garnered critical acclaim, and won multiple awards.
Girls will be kicking off its fifth season next month and has yet to be officially renewed for Season 6. It's likely that HBO will confirm a final season for the show when it formally announces its next season.

Jason Ritter To Guest Star On 'Girls' Season Four
It has been announced that Jason Ritter will guest-star in Episode Six of the upcoming fourth season of Girls, playing a character named Scott. Ritter is the latest in a series of familiar faces lining up for Season Four. Also, Gillian Jacobs (Community) will appear in several episodes as a character named Mimi-Rose Howard. Season Four of Girls will premiere in 2015.

Gillian Jacobs To Recur On 'Girls'
Former Community star Gillian Jacobs has just signed on to recur in the upcoming fourth season of HBO's Girls, where she'll play the part of new girl Mimi-Rose Howard. As of now, very little is known regarding her character's storyline but Jacobs will make her very first appearance in Episode Five, which is appropriately titled “Mimi-Rose.” Season Four of Girls is slated to premiere in early 2015.

With the Girls Season Three premiere only a few weeks away, HBO is planning to kick things off in style by hosting “Girls Night Out” screening events in eight cities around the country on the same night as the series' official New York City premiere, which kicks-off on Monday, January 6th at Lincoln Center. The cities participating in the celebrations include Atlanta, Austin, Boston, Chicago, Dallas, Philadelphia, San Francisco, Washington, D.C. and NYC.
