"Fear The Walking Dead" Premier Date Announced at Comiccon


The new season of "Fear the Walking Dead" will premier on October 11th. The remainder of the season has yet to be completed because of COVID-19, which also has interfered with the start of work on the next season of "The Walking Dead." While Morgan's status is unknown, the rest of the cast will be adjusting to life under pioneer rule.

"Fear the Walking Dead" Showrunner Teases Multiple Time Jumps


When asked at the recent ComicCon if there would be time jumps, showrunner Scott Gimple said, "There will be multiple time jumps."

There was also talk of how the show is being restructured into a kind of anthology-like format in which we'll get to see what each of the characters are going through in their new "homes."

'Fear The Walking Dead' Renewed For Season 6

It was announced today that Fear the Walking Dead has been picked up by AMC for a sixth season. Executive Producer Scott M. Gimple broke the good news during the show's panel at this year's San Diego Comic-Con, just days ahead of this Sunday's mid-season finale.
The zombie drama, which began as a companion series to The Walking Dead, has seen some significant changes over the past two seasons. The new showrunner duo of Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg have altered its overall tone and storytelling style since Season 4, changing up the cast significantly as well. The show's timeline has also gotten closer to the mothership series, with two stars of The Walking Dead having now crossed over to Fear.
Look for Season 6 of Fear the Walking Dead to premiere in mid-2020. In the meantime, the second half of Season 5 returns on August 11.

'Fear The Walking Dead' Renewed For Season 5

AMC announced today that Fear the Walking Dead has been renewed for a fifth season. The early pickup comes in the midst of Season 4, which is due to return for the second-half of its run on August 12.
The zombie drama, which began as a companion series to The Walking Dead, has continued to be a solid performer for the cable network. While its current viewership numbers aren't what they were in its earlier days, more overall viewers have been tuning into its fourth-season compared to the same point in Season 3.
The series underwent some significant changes for Season 4, staring with bringing in a new showrunner duo who have changed its overall tone and storytelling style. Gone are most of the original cast, with many newcomers now taking the lead. The first crossover with The Walking Dead has also taken place, with Morgan joining as a series regular.
Look for Season 5 of Fear the Walking Dead in 2019.

'Fear The Walking Dead' Renewed For Season 4

AMC announced today that Fear the Walking Dead has been renewed for a fourth season. The early pickup comes in the weeks leading up to the premiere of the zombie drama's 16-episode third season on June 4.
Today's news included some behind-the-scenes changes for Season 4, as Andrew Chambliss and Ian Goldberg - who both last worked on Once Upon a Time - will be joining the show as co-showrunners. They will be taking over for Dave Erikson, who will be departing after Season 3 in order to begin developing new products for AMC Studios. Also, the current showrunner of The Walking Dead, Scott M. Gimple, will be added as an executive producer on Fear.
Fear the Walking Dead is a companion series to the mega-hit The Walking Dead, taking place in the same universe but at the beginning of the zombie apocalypse focusing on new characters in a different location.

AMC has just unveiled the release date for new episodes.
Fear the Walking Dead season 2 to premiere on April 10, 2016, will include 15 episodes, which will be divided into two installments. The first 7-episode installment is scheduled to premiere on AMC in the US on Sunday, April 10, 2016 at 9pm ET/PT.followed by the companion talk show Talking Dead, hosted by Chris Hardwick, at 10pm.

AMC Confirms Season 2 of Fear The Walking Dead

With the series premiere of Fear the Walking Dead less than a month away, AMC today confirmed its plans for the show's second season. The network had originally commissioned two seasons back in March, but we now know that the episode count will more than double from six episodes in Season 1 up to 15 for Season 2.
Look for the series debut of Fear the Walking Dead on Sunday, August 23 at 9:00pm with a special 90-minute episode. Season 2 will return in 2016.

'The Walking Dead' Spin-Off Picked Up With Two Season Order At AMC
AMC is moving forward with their Walking Dead spin-off. "Fear The Walking Dead” project, which has been in the works at the network since 2013. Six episodes have been ordered for the show’s first season, while the episode order for the second season has yet to be determined. Set to premiere on AMC this Summer, the untitled series is set in Los Angeles and focuses on a new set of characters in the early days of the outbreak.
