FALLING SKIES opens in the chaotic aftermath of an alien attack that has left most of the world completely incapacitated. In the six months since the initial invasion, the few survivors have banded together outside major cities to begin the difficult task of fighting back. Each day is a test of survival as citizen soldiers work to protect the people in their care while also fighting back.

Character Bio
Matt Mason is Tom’s youngest son. He's 8-year-old. Matt has been forced by circumstances to face the kind of loss and upheaval no child should ever have to confront. Matt desperately wishes for everything to go back to normal. He struggles to understand why he can’t have all the things his brothers had when they were his age, like a birthday party or a new skateboard. Despite being too young to join the fight alongside his father and brother, Matt wants to help, even if it means going against his father’s wishes.
