Character Bio
David has been fascinated by science for as long as he can remember. Having worked as a chemical engineer in pharmaceutical and oil industries he spent a few years as a youth worker and now loves teaching young people about science and chemistry in particular.
He currently works in a secondary school in Dundee where he fascinates pupils with the facts and wonder of science.
David lives in the Angus glens of Scotland where he spends time walking dogs, seeing his six grandchildren and managing the trees in his garden. He also finds time to speak regularly at science festivals around Scotland.
