Delta State is an original sci-fi series made of half an hour units. Characters are four super "anti"-heroes in their early 20's. Their supernatural powers are the only thing that can save the human race from the Rifters, a mysterious force that seeks control of the collective unconcious, and with it, all human minds.
He likes utility clothing, jean-jackets, T-shirts with slogans and charity shop trousers.
His music taste an eclectic mix of 60's Soft Pop, like Burt Bacharach, with an Easy or Trip-Hop contemporary mix.
Philip flits from job to job (secretarial, tele-sales, receptionist…) but loves being a delivery boy. Unfortuately he’s a total day-dreamer, which often gets him fired.
Philip’s unique ability is to interpret the ‘sensory stigmas’ left on objects and thus GO BACK IN TIME to uncover what happened to those objects, or their owners.
A sensitive and tactile power, requiring a careful hand, for "Each thing has it's own story".
As the group's lucky charm, Philip is the kind of boy that girls love to take care of… except for Luna, who seems unaffected by his love for her. And then there’s Maria, a Rifter. Will these affairs now perhaps passed, make him the most reliable team player in the future ?
Somewhere, not far from us, there are worlds we can barely imagine. In one such world, transient and lucidly evil creatures called Rifters prevail. They live in a non-physical state in a non-physical world. On the fringe of their world is another dimension…
The Delta Phase:
A materialisation of collective human unconsciousness. A world made of the dreams, nightmares, fears… and the hopes of every human. A shield exists between the Rifters' world and the Delta Phase. Occasionally, a Rifter powerful enough, can cross the shield: The Rifters’ goal is to seize and control all of Humanity. Only humans with paranormal powers can access the Delta Phase, powers that humanity may one day need.
World War II: two Rifters enter the Delta Phase incarnated as two German soldiers. Free to monopolise and absorb; allowing other Rifters to take human form and multiply, over and over…
Until one of the Rifters becomes a little too attached to humans. In the battle for power, this good Rifter "absorbs" his rival, and adopts the pseudo-identity of Robert Brodie, an eminent English scientist. Brodie is guardian of the Delta Phase, protecting the human mind from Rifters thereafter.
