Delta State is an original sci-fi series made of half an hour units. Characters are four super "anti"-heroes in their early 20's. Their supernatural powers are the only thing that can save the human race from the Rifters, a mysterious force that seeks control of the collective unconcious, and with it, all human minds.
Her Latino beauty is hidden beneath second hand over-sized jackets, 70's Tshirts and old sneakers. She plays folk guitar and likes traditional South-American music.
She’s much better at serving food than cooking it. Luna is a waitress at Jerzy K’s, a 24-hour restaurant. Luna’s special ability is to SEE INTO THE FUTURE.
Her premonitions usually occur when she’s emotionally stressed or in deep concentration. Her special vision draws out the Mother in Luna, she’s protective and very affectionate.
Luna is very close to Martin, a closeness that is resurfacing from a past, now hidden, love affair. Yet more complicated, Luna is perfectly aware of the feelings Philip has for her, she keeps a distance but remains kind and affectionate.
She’s very scared of entering the Delta Phase and will always try to find some reason to avoid going there.
Somewhere, not far from us, there are worlds we can barely imagine. In one such world, transient and lucidly evil creatures called Rifters prevail. They live in a non-physical state in a non-physical world. On the fringe of their world is another dimension…
The Delta Phase:
A materialisation of collective human unconsciousness. A world made of the dreams, nightmares, fears… and the hopes of every human. A shield exists between the Rifters' world and the Delta Phase. Occasionally, a Rifter powerful enough, can cross the shield: The Rifters’ goal is to seize and control all of Humanity. Only humans with paranormal powers can access the Delta Phase, powers that humanity may one day need.
World War II: two Rifters enter the Delta Phase incarnated as two German soldiers. Free to monopolise and absorb; allowing other Rifters to take human form and multiply, over and over…
Until one of the Rifters becomes a little too attached to humans. In the battle for power, this good Rifter "absorbs" his rival, and adopts the pseudo-identity of Robert Brodie, an eminent English scientist. Brodie is guardian of the Delta Phase, protecting the human mind from Rifters thereafter.
