Delta State is an original sci-fi series made of half an hour units. Characters are four super "anti"-heroes in their early 20's. Their supernatural powers are the only thing that can save the human race from the Rifters, a mysterious force that seeks control of the collective unconcious, and with it, all human minds.
Luckily she has the perfect job: Claire is a DJ in a hip club, mixing Jungle and Breakbeat until dawn. She has difficulty in trusting others and doesn't talk much, she is very impulsive and prone to mood swings. In a word Claire is complex.
Claire’s gift is her ability to SEE FROM A DISTANCE. Given an exact location, her mind can travel, viewing events in faraway locations… in realtime.
When in the Delta Phase she can pass through doors or walls, a remote voyeur of those who think they’re alone. From Claire’s viewpoint, everyone is a hypocrite!
Since moving in with the rest of the team, Claire and Martin have fallen in love. But their love is threatened by Luna's presence. Claire is deeply jealous of Luna, without really understanding why.Is love’s memory lost?
Somewhere, not far from us, there are worlds we can barely imagine. In one such world, transient and lucidly evil creatures called Rifters prevail. They live in a non-physical state in a non-physical world. On the fringe of their world is another dimension…
The Delta Phase:
A materialisation of collective human unconsciousness. A world made of the dreams, nightmares, fears… and the hopes of every human. A shield exists between the Rifters' world and the Delta Phase. Occasionally, a Rifter powerful enough, can cross the shield: The Rifters’ goal is to seize and control all of Humanity. Only humans with paranormal powers can access the Delta Phase, powers that humanity may one day need.
World War II: two Rifters enter the Delta Phase incarnated as two German soldiers. Free to monopolise and absorb; allowing other Rifters to take human form and multiply, over and over…
Until one of the Rifters becomes a little too attached to humans. In the battle for power, this good Rifter "absorbs" his rival, and adopts the pseudo-identity of Robert Brodie, an eminent English scientist. Brodie is guardian of the Delta Phase, protecting the human mind from Rifters thereafter.
